I can’t guarantee if this will help you but it’s worth a try as it seemed to have helped many people who were trying to find a solution in a forum. However, just follow the steps on how to restart your wireless adapter. This solution is very simple, but I don’t think this helps more than the CMD trick. It’s as simple as opening CMD and pasting the commands one by one and restarting your PC, that’s it! 😉 I recommend the Command Prompt method which is quick and much easier. This helped me every time and I think this works all the time. Using Command Prompt, you can reset the IP configuration of your network and also the adapter.
Lifewire does a good job of mentioned all the fixes which is great but they definitely miss out on guiding properly on how to try each solution. After researching for about 5 hours, I was able to gather all the possible solutions. You can also try restarting your network adapter by going to “ Change Adapter Settings” from Network and Sharing Center. Sometimes, restarting the router also helps. There are a bunch of CMD commands which helps reset your IP and your adapter as well, hence, fixing the problem in no time. I have a guide on improving WiFi signal which might be the case sometimes – a weak signal. So that makes me believe that it’s all about the misconfigured IP set or your wireless adapter problem.
But I have tried one fix (CMD trick) all the time which never disappointed me. I have already said, I’m not sure what actually causes this problem.
